In recognition of those who are moving mountains just to survive the day-to-day. I see you, trying.

The times I try, it’s never enough.

My smile, unwavering when it shouldn’t be, the fact I still get out of bed, get my education when I feel as if I’m dying.

The way I wear my hair, when I finally feel decent in a shirt, when I wash my face and brush my teeth, when my childhood bedroom sparkles clean.
