There’s nothing like the sound of a hotel room radiator. Its hum an unfamiliar calm; a polar opposite of my mind. I tend to dizzy when I’m somewhere new. My muscles tense. I break out into a cold and unforgiving sweat. So I resort to studying the panels on the ceiling and breathing in all of the clean aromas flowing their ways in and out.
Then I start to panic again.
